I'm Tara, 22 and from southern Illinois. I love to read. I have an obsession with books.

I love the smell of a library. I love to open a book that hasn't been opened in a while and just smell it. Weird, I know.

At last count (Dec. 22, 2007), I have about 245 books on my TBR pile.

Unfortunately, I seem to be adding to that pile faster than I can actually make a dent in it.

I love the Boxer feature. I will rarely turn down an offer. I know that I probably shouldn't accept all of them or even request all that I do, but I'm addicted.

I love mysteries, horror, thriller, true crime, historical, biographies. I sometimes tend to feel that a book is not really worth reading unless someone dies in it. Morbid,I know.

I've got a few books that I used for my college courses that I have highlighted and/or written in the margins, therefore rendering them unpostable. If you are interested I will throw them in for free:
